Who is it for? ADP is the priming program for Senior Athletes and Junior Athletes looking to take their game to a new level. If you play sport in Victoria and you want to not only train for your sport but continue to improve and maximise your playing career, you need to enrol in ADP.

What is it? The Athlete Development Program is the framework that enables our Athletes to reach their fullest potential on field/court or track by transitioning weaknesses into strengths. Athletes not only receive personalised and sport specific programming tailored to their individual needs, but professional Performance Coaching, Allied Health support and sports recovery- delivering the complete elite sporting experience to facilitate the development and sporting success of our Athletes. ADP is the complete training package that you have been looking for.

 

How does it work? All Athletes begin with Performance testing that provides an in depth analysis about how your body moves, what your strengths and weaknesses are and it identifies the areas of improvement required in order to excel in your sport or with your training goals. A sports scientist takes you through not only your performance assessment but also an initial consultation to discover what your goals are to curate a plan to help you reach your desired outcome through our ADP program. After completing the initial consultation and testing, you are booked into your preferred ADP sessions for the first few weeks where you are not only introduced to the program but complete a comprehensive onboarding. The onboarding phase is designed to prepare you not only for a successful ADP journey but for the rigours of a long sporting career. Athletes complete their tailored program 2-3 times per week under the supervision of and supported by Axis Performance Coaches. Programs are updated every 4-6 weeks depending on the Athletes goal and progress and performance testing is repeated quarterly to ensure that Athletes are tracking towards their desired outcome. Athletes are also monitored each session by sports scientists that complete a weekly wellness report that outlines the Athletes training load, game readiness, recovery requirements, sleep quality and provides them with feedback regarding the areas that may require either more attention or less load. The Athletes coaches, sports scientists and even allied health professionals all collaborate to deliver an institute like service, ensuring that the Athlete is well taken care of so that all you will need to worry about is playing your sport.

 

What is included?

  • 1x Initial Consultation to discover everything that we need to know about the Athlete and their training goals.

  • 1x Athlete Blueprint to comprehensively analyse the overall condition and movement patterns of the athlete.

  • 1x Initial Performance report to deliver the results of the testing and confirm which areas have been identified as requiring more attention and a plan to help the Athlete achieve their desired outcome.

  • 1x Onboarding Phase of 4 weeks to guide the Athlete through their first programming block. The first 4 weeks also include education modules to assist the Athlete with their goal setting, mapping out their plan for success, and their schedule and building their mental skills to become the most resilient Athlete that they can be.

  • 1x new programming block every 4-6 weeks to be completed in 2-3 weekly ADP sessions, depending on the stage go the season you are in.

  • Access to all Weekly Speed & Agility sessions, carried out offsite and on field.

  • Quarterly performance testing and reporting to ensure that you remain on track and continue to grow and improve as an Athlete.

  • Unlimited access to the Recovery Zone

  • Quarterly Physiotherapy (extra at additional cost)

  • 1x Dietitian consultation to ensure that you are well fuelled for your ADP journey and well-educated on making the right food choices for you.

  • Wellness surveys and checklists to be completed daily or weekly, converted into a weekly wellness report to highlight areas that may require more attention such as training load, sleep, rest and recovery, hydration and mood. Each report is developed by our sports scientists that make recommendations based on the individual needs and survey results of each Athlete.

  • Access to our Athlete Portal, Team Buildr where you can access your program online as well as access additional support from your Coach as required.

  • 1x Axis Athlete planner to help you put all of your onboarding tools together, to help keep your organised and all of your education tools in one place.
